As promised on Tuesday I am posting another photo that will reveal a little bit more of the item. Please leave a comment with your guess. I will leave this up until May 15th and will then post the winner. In case of a tie, I will use the Rodometer*.
One thing you might not know about me, is I love contests. So I decided to do another one. Being a photographer of course my contest is related to photography. I have posted a photograph of part of an item, quite a small part of an object. I will let you ponder over the object below and leave comments on what you think it is.
After 2 days, if nobody has guessed it, I will post another photo of the same object only a bigger area. Again you can leave comments and ponder over that one.
Then on Weds, May 14th I will reveal the complete photograph and hopefully the winner. I will be away but will be checking my blog and if you are having a very hard time, I will leave hints along the way. In case of a tie, I will use the Rodometer*..........that is my Boyfriend who will pick the winner out of a bucket very fair and square.
Here is the first photo.
The WINNER of the contest will win a beautiful 2" square glass magnet with one of my prints. Will be a surprise.!!!!!!! I'm sure you love surprises.......have fun.
**Rodometer is my boyfriend who will pick the winner out of a bucket very fair and square.

Oooh, cake!
Do we have to be more specific?

No, if your guess is cake, cake would be all I need. Unless you mean chocolate cake. LOL (Just having fun)
Is this a citrus peel, such as orange or lemon?--JN Originals
Ha!!! It's that Moldy Orange!!!
I say the underside of a starfish, although my first inclination was a citrus fruit.
How did you get a photo of my liver?
I seem to have the same impression as everyone else...moldy fruit (lemon or peach?), or maybe a lemon bar or lemon danish. Or maybe I am just hungry!
Maybe it's a piece of port wine cheese that's been lurking around in the refrigerator a bit too long.
I think it's something from a tide pool..... how are you all seeing this as eatable? LOL!
Looks like a sliced peach with ice crystals on it. Fruit salad?
How about a sponge?
I agree, it looks like part of a citrus skin, perhaps partly peeled off.
It looks like some peach cobbler with powdered sugar to me...peach & sugar for sure!
I think I'll finally be allowed to leave a comment now.
Looks too gooey to be citrus peel to me. But it kind of looks like lemon bars... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say melted butter
Come on...are you folks blind...it's a close up of a nudibranch...sheeesh
It's slices of peaches, with powder sugar sprinkled on top--:)
Did I get it?
I love this contest Beth, great idea!
I agree about the icey bits... maybe it's crystallized fruit... candied, whatever it's called. Do I need to be more specific than just fruit? Pear or something like that. Do they crystallize pears?!
We all live in a moldy tangerine...moldy tangerine...moldy tangerine... We all live in a...

OK its a pineapple for sure.
That's definitely a pineapple... bet I'm too late...story of my life...sigh
OK - now it looks like a part of something living - maybe in the back of my fridge. A flower, maybe?
It looks like a pod of somekind, a seed maybe ?
I definitely think it is a pear, or at least some type of fruit.
Well, at least something edible!
Pam
I go with pineapple, too.
I guess a pineapple too!
If that is cake.... I will pass on it, thank you! I think it is the stamen or centre of a tulip
Pineapple definitely!!!!
absolutely pineapple. I had no idea the first time!
Is this a close-up of part of a butterfly?--JN Originals
Pineapple!
Okay so I'm a little late!
Wow, I almost forgot to come back for a look at the 2nd picture. I don't know if I'm seeing pineapple, but that seems to be what the majority is saying. My first thought was, "Oh, a flower". So that's my guess. Looking down into a flower of some kind. Like a bird of paradise.
I think it is new growth on a succulent plant.
I'm not copying I swear, but it really does look like a pineapple or maybe a kiwi.
I'm sooooooooo glad you are back from vacation!
an artichoke????
Pineapple!
